FORCE316 | NATO Compass

A translucent compass with the NATO insignia created as part of a project to update the Modern Weapons II Mod. There is a small tritium needle to indicate the direction you are traveling.

The outer ring of the compass was originally from a digital picture taken of a US Army lensatic compass but once converted and shrunken the detail was lost almost completely. Such painstaking pixel perfect work cannot go unsung :)

Notes : This mod replaces the original compass images using the dds format. Run this mod only on servers that with a mod folder. If this compass is used on a server with no mod folder and is simply placed in the uo directory then clients will get inpure pk3 errors when connecting to most pure servers. If used within a mod folder then no issues arise from its use. The dds format was used because it renders a much nicer graphic then TGA files.
